Fair play policy
The leaderboards exist for friendly comparison. Players are welcome to use any genuine solving strategy, but automated or fabricated results undermine the experience for everyone.
Acceptable play
- Solve puzzles manually using the provided interface.
- Use personal notes or ordinary reasoning aids.
- Play on multiple devices while using the same account.
- Discuss strategy without publishing the current daily answer.
Unacceptable activity
- Automated result submission or scripted account creation.
- Submitting results for games that were not played.
- Trying to bypass one-result-per-day controls.
- Abusive, deceptive, or impersonating usernames.
- Attempting to disrupt the service or other accounts.
Enforcement
Dubai Times uses uniqueness constraints and rate limits to reduce duplicate and automated activity. Results or accounts may be removed when there is strong evidence of manipulation. Because puzzle logic is delivered to the browser, no casual web leaderboard can be perfectly cheat-proof; rankings should therefore be treated as recreational rather than as verified competition.
