Statistics and leaderboards
Dubai Times calculates signed-in statistics from the same saved account results used by the leaderboards. Guest statistics are stored only on the device. This lets anyone play privately while giving competitive players a consistent account-based record.
Personal statistics
For signed-in players, games played, wins, average guesses, streaks and guess distribution are reconstructed from recorded account results. Signing out, changing browsers or signing in again does not reset these totals. Unfinished boards and guest statistics remain local. Pending uploads appear in account totals once they have synced. A daily streak increases when puzzles are won on consecutive local calendar dates; missing a day or losing breaks it. Unlimited streaks count consecutive solved games instead of consecutive days.
Daily leaderboard
The daily leaderboard records no more than one result per account and puzzle date. Games played includes wins and completed losses. Average guesses is calculated over solved games, while win rate includes every recorded result.
Unlimited leaderboard
Unlimited games have a separate ranking so practice sessions do not alter daily performance. Each completed random game has its own identifier, and duplicate submissions are ignored.
Sudoku leaderboard
Daily Sudoku ranks players by average completion time, followed by games played and best time. Only complete, valid grids that preserve the original clues are recorded.
Leaderboards are intended for friendly comparison. Client-visible puzzles can never be made perfectly cheat-proof, so implausible or automated activity may be removed to protect useful rankings.
Saving a guest session
Create a new account to transfer your current guest boards and completed game records into account statistics. Guest results recorded before this feature may only retain their most recent board, so older aggregate totals cannot always be transferred. Signing in to an existing account never merges guest results. Best streak means the longest winning streak; current streak means your active run of wins.
